Madrid, Mar 23 (Prensa Latina) The two main Spanish unions, the General Union of Workers (UGT) and Workers Commissions (CCOO), predicted on Friday a massive response to Thursday''s general strike against government labor reform.

At a press conference in Santiago de Compostela (Galicia), the leaders of the UGT, Candido Mendez, and CCOO, Ignacio Fernández Toxo, said that there is a profound rejection of the reform, which they described as the more regressive and unbalanced of democracy.

March 29 is not the end of a path, said Fernández Toxo, who announced that the conflict will remain alive, including an appeal of unconstitutionality against the changes introduced by the conservative Popular Party (PP) in the labor market However, the unionsâÖ general secretaries warned the government of Mariano Rajoy there is still time to reverse labor legislation that gets dismissal of workers cheaper and easier.
