Bulgarian state railways’ workers to strike until 4 p.m. again

Sofia. Bulgarian state railways’ workers continue their strike for a 14th day, announced Petar Bunev, chairperson of the trade union of railway workers with the Confederation of Independent Trade Unions in Bulgaria (CITUB), speaking with FOCUS News Agency.

The trains’ movement will be suspended from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m.

“After today’s negotiations we expect to sign a collective labour contract and we really count on it,” he added.

The latest round of the negotiations within the Bulgarian State Railways (BDZ) with the participation of the secretary general of the Ministry of Transport, Information Technologies and Communication Ivan Markov will start at 11 a.m. Talks within the National Railway Infrastructure Company (NRIC) continue too.
