Hungary's Railway Workers Union (VSz) has postponed a strike scheduled for June 29 to a later date, the union's strike committee said on Tuesday.

The union decided to put off the strike until the Budapest Municipal Labor Court makes a ruling in a case launched to define minimum services. Until a decision on the matter is taken, the strike cannot be legally held, the VSz said.

Railway engine drivers earlier announced a warning strike between 9 and 11 Wednesday morning. The strike was called to protest the planned elimination of early retirement.
