Huawei Telecommunications Algeria workers have gone on strike over the sacking of four union representatives for having taken industrial action during the week of 22 November, La Tribune reports. Three quarters of the company's 120 employees said they will stay on strike until they receive a positive response from management. They are seeking the rehiring of the four representatives and an increase in basic salary in line with other telecom equipment makers in the country.
