Land Registry in Solidarity Strike with Water Workers

(IsraelNN.com) Land Registry (Tabu) offices will be closed on Monday and Tabu employees won't take phone calls under sanctions taken by the Federation of State Workers in solidarity with striking Water Authority workers. On Sunday, income tax workers carried out the same sanctions for four hours.

The solidarity sanctions began last Wednesday, when customs and Value-Added-Tax officials did not allow goods to pass from Jordan to Israel on the Allenby Bridge for four hours. The sanctions were duplicated on Thursday at the River Jordan crossing near Lake Kinneret (the Sea of Galilee).
