Mumbai, Nov 8 (PTI) In the face of proposed strike by Air India pilots, Chief Labour commissioner has called a conciliatory meeting between Nacil management and pilots' union representatives in New Delhi tomorrow.

Indian commercial pilots' association (ICPA), which claims representation of 800 pilots, threatened to go on strike on November 24 to press for their demands including payment of three months' salary allowances.

"The CLC has called a conciliatory meeting on the issue of strike call given by the non-executive pilots on November 24," Nacil sources told PTI here today.

National Aviation company of India (Nacil) is the holding company formed after the merger of Air India and erstwhile Indian Airlines to a single entity.

On November 1, ICPA wrote a letter to Nacil Chairman and Managing Director, Arvind Jadhav stating that the pilots would strike work if their demand were not met by November 10.
