Steelworkers members ratify three-year deal with Canadian Pacific

MONTREAL — Local 1976 of the United Steelworkers union has ratified a three-year contract with Canadian Pacific Railway Ltd. (TSX:CP).

The union local represents 1,100 clerical and intermodal workers at Canada's second-largest railway, which has its headquarters in Calgary.

The agreement provides for a six per cent wage increase for the three years spanning 2010 to 2012, the union announced from Montreal.
