Myanmar's Labour Ministry will grant permission to about 15 Thai companies to open employment agencies in the country, which can provide cheap and efficient services to the Burmese nationals who legally want to work in Thailand, said Deputy Minister Myint Thein.

He said the move would reduce cases involving job brokers exploiting migrant workers, especially where wages and human trafficking were concerned.
